Chandu,
I think I got most of it right.
The trouble seems to be with the Fingerprint option and I bet the MaxClockSpeed is causing the trouble.
Just remove that line as suggested by others and send a new DLL to the customer.
Or do not register with the Fingerprint option until this is resolved.

Let me know about the progress on this.

Hi Ismail,

We got the same Issue in our production machine.Below is the scenario.

When we are generating a new License and Installing it in Web Application it is registered successfully. But as I said we are validating the same License from service also. Here it is showing as Invalid.

What We Did
1)Suppose our system already has a License for 50 Users and running successfully.
2)While Upgrading our product we delete the License and prompt the user to install the License.
3)Actually the user has to install the License that he has before.(If he has the prev License Key)
4)But if he again generates new License for the same no.of Users[50] and tries to install it is getting installed successfully from Web application but it is showing as Invalid when validated from service.

Can you please confirm whether the User can generate and Install new License with the same no.of Users in the system which he already hold?

Are you storing the License Information in any Registry? My doubt is whether the new License is Conflicting with old License.

(why it is installed successfully and working properly from web application as it is failing from service? We are using the same License key from Web application and Service.)

Thanks,
Chandu.

License information is stored in a license file (LIC) at a location you specify. You must specify the path for this. If the path is not accessible by a user running the app or can not be overwritten, then the lic file will be invalid.
There's something going on with the accessibility of the license file.

Also, some registry keys are written against system clock tampering. Access to these keys by different users with diffrerent access rights might cause a problem although it should not.

License storage is also different between a FAT32 and NTFS drives. Which one do you use?

If you could also tell me the exact invalid message displayed, it might give us a clue.

Hi Ismail,

Sorry for the Late reply.I just want to confirm that there is no Issue with the License file from our customers with the solution provided.

We have found out the culprit as HDD firmware serial as it is working fine in Ui but causing Issue from services side. When we removed this option till now we dont have any issues.

In the last post you asked me about the invalid message we  are getting the message as "License Invalid".

when we debugged the activelock we got difference in HDD firmware serial value from wiindows service code, but the value is same when we are debugging from ASP.NET application. We dont know the reason why it is behaving like this.

We finally omitted that option and get rid of that problem. If any further issue comes I will intimate you.

Thanks for your support.

Thanks,
Chandu.
